Case Study:
Understanding the End-of-Life and Recyclability of Used Beverage Cartons
Used beverage cartons are recyclable, but majority end up in mixed waste streams and landfills due to low awareness, limitations, and the lack of visibility into where they go after use.
To better understand these gaps, Aqo Partners conducted a Waste Analysis and Characterization Study and Material Flow Analysis, supported by interviews, site visits, and surveys. The study examined waste volumes and the factors affecting collection and recycling. The findings gave the client baseline data to support reporting and inform their recovery strategies.
